Mrs. Howard was preceded in death by her parents, George W. Davis and Annie Mae Davis; husband, Eddie Earl Howard; son, Jerry Steve Howard; grandsons, Darren Michael and Kent Hays; daughter-in-law, Robin Howard; six brothers and six sisters. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her children, Mary Ann Michael (Bert), Bobby Howard (Shirley), Billy Earl Howard, Jackie Howard (Joy), Greg Howard (LeeAnn); daughter-in-law, Kathy; 17 grandchildren; 26 great- grandchildren; and 17 great- great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
