Mrs. Carol Joan “Nunnie” Brown age 76, of Blountsville passed away Sunday Feb. 3, 2019, at Marshall Medical Center North. Mrs. Brown was born on May 29, 1942, in Tennessee the Daughter of Namon Jasper and Beulah L. Dison Justice. She was married to Rev. Charles Brown for 59 years and she was a member of Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Namon and Beulah Justice; Son: Anthony Brown; Great Grandson: Logan Alexander Bullard; Brothers: Ray, Bill, Frank, Don, Neal and Roger Justice; Sisters: Mildred Foster, Renae Smith and Linda Whisenant. Survivors include her Husband: Rev. Charles “Popsie” Brown of Blountsville; Children: Boyd (Ina) Brown, Carolyn (Stanley) Wilemon and Jonathan Brown all of Blountsville; Sister: Geraldine “Pete” Bolding of Guntersville; 5 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Service will be Wed. Feb. 6, 2019, at 2 PM at Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church with Reverends Michael Brogdon, Ricky Statham, Dustin Brown and Johnny McDowell officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery with Gober Funeral Chapel directing. Visitation will be Tues. from 6-8 PM at Gober Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers will be: Langston Cobbs, Jamon Brown, Landon Bullard, Mike Campbell, Zach Melvin, Tommy Allcorn and Justin Hall. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Abin Bullard, Weston Brown, Levi Alexander and Chris Allred.
