AGE 94 YEARS

Janice Frances (Ouimet) Salvi passed away peacefully on August 27, 2018 after a long and determined battle with Alzheimer’s Disease and Melanoma. Originally from Wellesley and Osterville she was born on Lake St. in Brighton on February 7, 1924.

Beloved wife of the late John P. Salvi and daughter of the amateur golf great, Francis D. Ouimet and Stella (Sullivan) Ouimet.

She is survived by her daughters, Nancy and her husband Robert O'Connor of Norton, and Leslie Shea of Chicago, IL; five grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, sister, Barbara McLean of Osterville/Centerville. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Captain Odber McLean.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Osterville. Burial will be private at Massachusetts National Cemetery.
