Frank W. Busenitz, 85, of rural Whitewater, died Wednesday, May 20, 1992, at Wheat State Manor in Whitewater. Services were Saturday at the Emmaus Mennonite Church with the Rev. Rodney Crowell officiating. Burial followed at the Emmaus Church Cemetery.
He was born July 2, 1906 near Whitewater, to Frank and Margaretha (Wiebe) Busenitz. He was a retired farmer and stockman. He had been a member of the Board of Berean Academy, Elbing, and a member of the Board of Grace College of the Bible in Omaha, Neb. He was a member of the Emmaus Mennonite Church.
On July 25, 1936, he and Hester Claassen were married.
Survivors include: wife, Hester; son, Wendell of Omaha, Neb.; daughters, Kathleen Veer of Lawrence, Marilyn Reimer of Newton; brother, Walter of Whitewater; sister, Frieda Entz of Elbing; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with Berean Academy and Grace College of the Bible.
