Matthew Jurek Adamski
September16, 1980 - June 26, 2015

Matthew Jurek Adamski ("San Mateo") was born an old, wise soul on September 16, 1980 in Lubbock, Texas, the son of Andrzej and Maureen (Adlum) Adamski. He grew up in San Jose, California and attended attended Santa Teresa HS and SJSU, where he wrote for the Spartan Daily and earned a BA in Journalism.

Matt lived for sports and was never shy to speak about his favorite teams. His joyous nature extended to all those that were blessed to meet him and witness his dimpled smile.

Matthew went home to the Lord and is gracefully soaring with the angels. He is survived by his parents, a brother, and a sister.

A vigil will take place for Matt on Sunday, July 5 at 7 p.m. at the Santa Teresa Church. The funeral mass will be held Monday, July 6 at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Church. Private burial will be at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
