Actress and Singer. Born Marla Hiromi Hayakawa Salas, she began her music career as a contestant on the reality show 'La Academia'. She appeared in such films as 'Skyrunners' (2009), 'El la Boda de mi Hermana' (2010), 'Los Muppets' (2011) and 'Alicia a Través del Espejo' (2016). Among television shows she had roles in were 'My Babysitters a Vampire', 'Glee', 'Melrose Place', 'Zeke and Luther' and 'Rescue Heroes'. She also did extensive voice work for animated films and TV shows, such as 'Pokémon', Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse', 'Futurama', 'Twinkle Toes', 'Tellytales', 'Gnomeo y Julieta', 'Los Fantasmas de Scrooge', 'Estrella de Pop' and 'My Little Pony'. Hayakawa died of excessive bleeding one day after giving birth to a stillborn child.
