He married Sylvia Sharlow in February, 1948, in Potsdam, NY. She died on October 1, 2012.
He was self-employed as a Milk Hauler for most of his life. He enjoyed working around his house, tinkering, mowing the lawn, gardening and spending time with his family.
He was survived by four sons; Larry (Nancy), Carl (Ruth) Wright, Donald (Lisa), and Gene (Dolly): six daughters. Linda Durgan, Ruth (Vernon) Trudall, Rita Wright, Arlene Wright, Sherrie (Steve) Richards, and Marsha (David) Gooshaw: and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his sons; Randy and Leland Wright, and his daughter, Candace Wright: and his siblings, Fred, Jack, Buster and William Wright, and Martha Baker and Arlene Wagstaff.
