Michael A. Acri, 95, of East Pennsboro Township, died peacefully on Thursday evening at the Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg.

Born in Halifax, he was the son of John A. and Josephine Magnelli Acri.

He was a supervisor for Miller Auto Supply, a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, where he served as a maintenance volunteer and was the annual top peanut butter egg salesman, a Eucharistic Minister at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, a member of the Bishop McDevitt Athletic Association, and was an avid Notre Dame and New York Yankee fan.

Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Leanore, who passed away in 1998.

Surviving is his son, Rev. John A. Acri; and a sister, Frances Merlina.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m., at his church with his son, Fr. John A. Acri as celebrant.

A viewing will be on Sunday from 6-8 p.m., at Our Lady of Lourdes, 225 Salt Road, Enola, PA, followed by a Prayer Service at 8 p.m.

Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Our Lady of Lourdes Renovation Fund, 225 Salt Road, Enola PA 17025.

Arrangments entrusted to the Gilbert L. Dailey Funeral Home, Penbrook.
