Born April 26, 1955 in Williamsport, she is the daughter of the late Frank and Catherine H. (Clements) Stutzman. Wendy was a graduate of South Williamsport High School, Class of 1973, and received a degree in Elementary Education from Tennessee Temple University, class of 1977. Wendy was employed as a school teacher and substitute teacher. As a substitute teacher, her favorite class was the deaf class at Cochran Elementary School. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Muncy. Wendy had a love of the outdoors, especially seeing birds, flowers, beautiful scenery, and wildlife. She enjoyed traveling to new places, and enjoyed spending time with her family and her church family.
Surviving in addition to her husband Gerald are two daughters, Heidi (Kevin) Young of Alexandria , VA, Heather (John) Richardson of Reston, VA; three grandchildren, Aden and Jack Young, and Emma Richardson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Sally Stutzman and Sandy Iffland.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, January 6 at Grace Baptist Church of Muncy, 5471 Clarkstown Rd., Muncy, with Pastor Charles E. Teffeteller officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
