Son of John Adams and Marian Morse. Great great grandson of John Quincy Adams and great great great son of John Adams both Presidents of the United States. He was trustee for the Adams Family Papers. He is survived by his wife Ramelle Frost Cochrane, of 57 years. Sons John Adams, Peter Boylston Adams, Francis Douglas Adams, Henry Bigelow Adams, a daughter Ramelle Frost Adams, a sister Abigail Adams King, of Santa Rosa California, brother John Quincy Adams,
He went to Harvard in 1929.
He was a watch executive.
President of the Massachusetts Historical Society 1957-1975
Vice President of the Sheraton Corporation from 1954-1963. President of Adams Securities.
In 1966 he campaigned as a peace candidate against the Vietnam War, and lost. Endicott Peabody won the Democratic Senate seat.
He wrote a book "A New Nation" published in 1982.
Thomas Boylston Adams was also in US Army Air Force during W. W. II.
