Nancy Lee (Sypolt) Ganoe, 79,
of Waynesboro, Pa., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016.

Born July 20, 1937, in Hagerstown, Md., she was the daughter of Earl Franklin and Goldie Elizabeth (Bond) Sypolt.

Nancy took pleasure in travel, especially to the ocean.

She enjoyed watching the "Golden Girls" and the Hallmark channel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Charles Sypolt; and her sister, Ruby Voyles.

She is survived by five children, Teresa Judge and husband, Jim, of Bedford, N.H., Cecile Trotta and husband, John, of Marlboro, Mass., David Ganoe and wife, Peggy, of Standardsville, Va., James Ganoe and wife, Christine, of Rindge, N.H., and Mary Jurus and husband, Jerry, of South Lyon, Mich.; 11 grandchildren, Eric and Lindsay Judge, John III and Danielle Trotta, Kim Morris and her husband, Chad, Craig Ganoe and his wife, Erika, Bryan Ganoe and his wife, Jasmine, Amanda LaFalam and her husband, Ryan, Stephen Ganoe, and Amelia and Olivia Jurus; eight great-grandchildren; her ex-husband, Cecil Ganoe; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016, at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home on Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Nancy's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
