GONZALEZ — Jorge M. Gonzalez, 67, of Gridley, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, in Chico. Arrangements are under the direction of Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel,Gridley, 846-2138.
His Legacy Jorge was born July 23, 1945 in Chihuahua
Mexico to Manuel and Francisca Gonzalez. He passed away
February 16, 2013 in Chico CA. Jorge was a long time
resident of Gridley, having worked many years for Red Top
Rice Growers in Biggs. He was very loving and caring to
everyone always willing to help others. He was a devoted
father and grandfather.
His Family Jorge was preceded in death by his father
Manuel Gonzalez, one daughter Sylvia Gonzalez, and one
brother Alejandro Gonzalez.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Hortencia
Gonzalez of Biggs, one son Jorge (Julia) Gonzalez of
Gridley, one daughter Sonia Props of Gridley, his mother
Francisca Marquez, one sister Clara Bencomo and five
grandchildren.
His Farewell Service A Memorial Mass will be
held on Thursday, February 21, 2013, 10:00 am at the Sacred
Heart Catholic Church in Gridley CA.,
Father Avram Brown will officiate the Memorial Mass.
