Ralph founded RSV Welding and Fabrication in 1979. He was the first ever journeyman at Campbell Soup Company, an account executive for WNDH Radio, where he would color commentate sporting events and he also enjoyed farming. He was a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon where he was a congregational chairman, stewardship board and school board member. He coached little league and pony league baseball for several years, was an avid Lake Erie boater and fisherman, and a proud fan of the Detroit Tigers.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy; sons, Randy (Pam) Vocke, Napoleon, and Steve (Tiffany) Vocke, Peoria, Arizona; 5 granddaughters, Olivia, Erika, Veronica, Cora, and one expected in December; sister, Carolyn (Don) Detterer. He was preceded in death by his sister; Marvelle Garbers.
Funeral services will held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 15 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon. Internment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery, Napoleon.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2 - 7 p.m. at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
Memorials can be made to St. Paul Lutheran Home Fund.
