Marcel L. Rehaume, 82, Cushing, Minnesota passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 12:45 PM, at St. Cloud VA Hospice Care Center of Sickle Cell, Leukemia.
Marcel Rehaume was preceded in death by his parents:Lester and Aurore (Thibault) Rehaume, brothers: Eugene, Harold and Ronald Rehaume. Marcel is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Doris,(Pat), Sister: JoAnn Chaika, Three Daughters: Peggy,(Kevin), Lindquist, Teresa, (Ron), Weber, Mrs. Olson, Six Grandchildren:
Amy,(Andy), Nordquist, Matt, (Karen), Weber, J. Weber, Rob Lindquist, CJ, (Bethany), McMunn, and Tylor McMunn, Great-Grandchildren: Heidi and Abigail, Nieces and Nephews.
Marcel was born and grew up on a farm in Princeton. Later on Marcel family moved to Columbia Heights and attended De La Salle Catholic High School and then graduated from Columbia Heights H.S. Marcel join the the Navy in 1953 and is a veteran of the Korea and Vietnam war. His service with the Navy involved accounting. On February 6, 1954 in Omaha, NE he married his beautiful wife Doris Peterson at St. Patricks Church. After his service in the Navy he continued with accounting and doing taxes part time and also went full time into grocery retail at Safeway foods as a Supervisor out east in Maryland and Rhode Island. Marcel moves to Minnesota in the 1960's and was hired at Red Owl Warehouse in Hopkins, MN as a Supervisor for 8+ years. In 1976 he left Red Owl to work for H and R block. Marcel continued his education and graduated with a master in accounting from U of MN. He bought M and M tax and business, office in Crystal in 1978. From then on he held his own accounting business till June of 2016. In his leisure time he love to play cards, a game of cribbage, puzzles and never would turn down a chance to go fishing. Marcel also enjoyed crime shows on TV. He bought his dream house in 1979 on Lake Alexander and never left. Marcel join the Lincoln Lions in Cushing township and volunteered his services as their accountant. His Sense of humor and his love for his family and friends will be greatly missed.

A mass was held at St James Catholic Church by Father Jimmy Joseph at 405 E Minnesota Ave, Randall, MN 56475 on Tuesday at 11:00 followed with a luncheon.
