Connie Lou Hull, 64, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016, at her residence.
She was born May 31, 1951, to George Allen Smith and Rosemary (Vandegrift) Smith in Shelbyville. She married Terry A. Hull on Oct. 13, 1990, and he survives.
Other survivors include four children: Carrie Mack (Andy Mack), Jennifer Hensley (Ryan Griffith), Melissa Hull (David Fannin) and Amanda Helfer (husband, John), all of Shelbyville; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ronnie Smith and Donnie Smith; and a sister, Dixie Brown.
Mrs. Hull was a lifetime resident of this area.
She graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1969.
She worked for the U.S. government for 11 years, retiring in 2001. She also had been a custodian for several years for Shelbyville Central Schools.
Mrs. Hull was a member of Crossroad Community Church.
She belonged to several Bible study groups and was active in her high school class reunions.
Mrs. Hull volunteered for Shelby Senior Services.
She led all of the activities at Deer Creek Campground in North Vernon, where she and her husband spent every weekend.
Connie loved her church, camping, crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, Shelbyville, IN 46176.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 28, 2016, at Crossroad Community Church, 475 Progress Parkway, Shelbyville, with Pastor Andy Lee officiating.
Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter or the Cancer Association of Shelby County in care of the funeral home.
