Clinton James Bicknell, 89 of Irving, TX, passed away, Saturday, April 23, 2016. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Jeter & Sons Funeral Home, 4830 W. Illinois Ave., Dallas. Visitation & viewing will be Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at DFW National Cemetery. Clinton was born January 7, 1927 in Cleburne, TX to Clinton Francis & Alma Cordellia Jameson Bicknell. He graduated from Cleburne High School in 1948. On November 14, 1947, he married Jimmie Marie Britton and was married for 66 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jimmie Marie Britton Bicknell, his parents, Clinton Francis and Alma Cordellia Bicknell, and his brothers, Joe Eli Bicknell and Alvin Corbin Bicknell. Clinton is survived by his daughters and son in laws: Brenda & Ben Ratky of Soldotna, AK; Dottie & Gerald Barnes of Irving, TX; Robbi & Daniel Fails of Maypearl, TX; Denise & Tim Harrod of Galveston, TX. Sons and daughter in laws: Marc & Darla Bicknell of Red Oak, TX; Paul & Traci Bicknell of Soldotna, AK. 15 grandchildren & 31 great grandchildren.
