Rosie married Henry Peter Dehen, son of David Peter Dehen and Catherine Marie Endres, on 21 Apr 1938 in Austin, Mower, MN. Henry was born on 16 Apr 1913 in Otsego Twp, Wright, MN and was christened in St. Albert's Catholic Church; Albertville, Wright, MN. He died 22 Sep 1991, age 78, in Anoka, Anoka, MN and was buried on 25 Sep 1991 in New St. John the Baptist Cemetery; Dayton, Hennepin, MN.

Rosie grew up Lutheran and converted to Catholicism when she married Uncle Hank. Rosie was always deeply spiritual in the best way. She was always helpful, cheerful and had the friendliest nature. She worked for the Daytons and Donaldsons Department Stores in downtown Minneapolis, MN as a Buyer and had been a Saleslady for many years .

She and Hank built and lived in a house on 41st and Hampshire in Crystal, MN that was next door to the house Grandpa Dehen built and lived in a few years before moving to St. Michael. Later, Hank and Rosie moved to a nice house along the river in Dayton, MN. She always had a cat or two.

In her latest move, she lived in North Mankato to be near her son, Dave and his family. There, she met an old school chum who also lived in that apartment building.

Worked for Dayton's and Donaldson's for many years as a buyer. Survived by son, Dr. David L. Dehen & wife Helen; Grandson, Dr. Mark D. Dehen & wife Kimberly; and great grandson, Jackson, all of North Mankato; granddaughter, Laura and husband Daniel Stefanek and great-granddaughters, Tashe & Chauntasia of St. Louis, MO; Sister, Caroline (Tib) & husband Joseph Berglund of Phoenix, AZ and numerous nephews & nieces. Preceded in death by her husband, Henry Dehen and sister, Leone Peterson Bethune of Alexandria, MN. Mass of Cristian Burial Thursday 10:30 AM at St. John the Baptist Church, Dayton, MN. Interment St. John's Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 6 to 8 PM. Prayer service 7:30 PM at Dare's Funeral Home, 805 Main St. also one hour prior to service at church on Thursday. Dare's Funeral Home Elk River, MN 441-1212.
