Two suits in equity were begun on Wednesday through petitions asking for the settlement of the estate of Peter Shoenberger, who died in Philadelphia in 1852. The estate is valued at $300,000, and the proceedings are the result of the death of Edwin F. Shoenberger in Cheltenham township last Friday. He was a son of Peter Shoenberger, who was a noted ironmaster. At the time of the father's death the estate was left in trust to Edwin. The parties to the suits are children of the latter. The complainants ask that a decree of partition of the real estate be made, and a master appointed to execute the decree.
