Mrs. Long was the daughter of the late Clarence O. and Martha Spence Rider, she was born in Stephens County where she lived all her life. She was retired from Coats & Clark with 40 years of service. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church and enjoyed being with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Long in 1994, son, Jerry Long in 2015, two brothers, John and Joe Rider and by a sister, Jessie Long.
