He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, and was a physician in Pittsburgh for over 40 years.
He was survived by his sisters, Mrs. Nathan Rosen, Mrs. Gustave Eisenstadt, Mrs. Louis Borkon, and Mrs. Sadie Ebin; and a brother, Maurice Ashinsky. He was preceded in death by his father, Rabbi Aaron M. Ashinsky.
Services were held at the Ralph Schugar Chapel. Interment was at Beth Jacob Cemetery.
