Patricia Ann Jones, 80, Bedford, died Friday evening at Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital.
Born Nov. 4, 1934, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Benjamin Roberts and Belva (Henderson) Roberts. She married Doyle F. “Little Boy” Jones on May 6, 1954, and he preceded her in death on July 19, 2011.
She was a kindergarten aide for 22 years at Needmore Elementary School. She was a member of the Fayetteville Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Pamela Younger and husband Joey of Williams; one son, David Jones and wife Paige of Bedford; four grandchildren, Misty Deckard and husband Curt, Jessica Bailey and husband Nathan, Aaron Jones and wife Hannah, and Brandon Jones; four great-grandchildren, Taylor and Hailey Deckard and Noah and Jonah Bailey; and one sister, Carolyn Sue Tolbert of Mitchell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with the Rev. Kenny Walden officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at the mortuary.
