H. A. Lindquist, Bridge Firm Manager, Dies
Services will be 1:30 p m. Saturday for Harold A. Lindquist, manager•engineer of the Minneapolis plant of the American Bridge division of U. S. Steel Company, who died Tuesday at the age of 60. Mr. Lindquist. who lived at 2217 St. Anthony boulevard, had been employed at the plant lance 1916, when he started work as a time keeper after his graduation from East high school. He later was shipping and cost clerk, foreman. draftsman, and superintendent. He became manager and engineer in 1948.
He was identified with numinous construction projects in the Upper Midwest and was active in social and professional organizations, including the Engineers club, St. Anthony Commercial club and the Masons.
Among survivors are his wife; Caroline, a daughter; Mrs. Robert Choate, Dayton. Ohio, a sister; Agnes and brother; Edwin, both of Minneapolis.
Services will be at 0. E. Larson mortuary with burial in Hillside cemetery.
