Lois Jean Smith Seale Oliver, age "39" passed peacefully from her earthly home to her heavenly home at 5:05 pm Sunday, December 7, 2014.

She is survived by her daughter Nancy Seale of Lexington, KY; her sister Billie Jo Walson; her nephew Judge Jeffrey M. Walson; great-nephew Jacob Palmer Walson; great-niece Savannah Marie Walson; all of Winchester, KY.

She was greeted in heaven by her Mother, Georgia McCoy Smith Krash; Father, Will M. Smith; spouses Ray Seale, and Ralph Lisle Oliver; and many, many other welcoming friends and family.

Her passion for office work began at the A. T. Whitt Insurance Agency, Winchester, KY. She loved writing insurance policies for the people of Winchester. After her mentor, Mr. Whitt, passed away she had the opportunity to own the agency - a position that suited her perfectly. She was the owner of Oliver Warehouse and Scott Industrial Storage. She was involved in many business dealings as well as giving back to the community through several philanthropic endeavors. She was honest, generous and loved to dance! Among her passions were her family, her work, golf, Chardonnay and QVC!

Pallbearers are: Joe Peavler, Roger Lyman, Harold Epperson, Robert L. Rose, Milbert Clem, and Henry L. Rosenthal.

Honorary Pallbearers: Eugene Woestman, Jenny Cain, William H. Hodgkin, David Palmer, Ken Tye, William Berryman, William H. Pitt Jr., Carl Willoughby, and Brad Harrison.

The family would like to thank the amazing caregivers who tended to her during her last stages of metastatic bladder cancer: Karen Watts, Debbie Hubbard, Rebecca Cox and all the staff of Hospice East; daily caregiver Judy Rainey, and weekend caregiver Trish Spivey.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 11, 2014 at noon, Scobee Funeral Home in Winchester, with a funeral officiated by Rev. Anthony Molihan at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery.

Please consider a donation in her name to The Salvation Army, Hospice East, or the charity of your choice.
