Nolan Kay Larsen, beloved son, husband, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather, passed away unexpectedly on February 14, 2013. He was born June 6, 1958 to Lee Larsen and Dawn Larsen in Provo, Utah.

He grew up in Bountiful with his 2 sisters and 2 brothers. He graduated from BYU with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science. While attending school, he met his sweetheart, Denise Norton, and made her his eternal companion on November 24, 1984 in the Mesa Arizona Temple.

He excelled in his career as a software programmer working on a variety of platforms. He enjoyed photography, technology, problem solving, genealogy, and traveling. Some of his favorite travel destinations were Disneyland, Yellowstone, and southern Utah.

He served a mission in the Canada Montreal Mission and remained a faithful member of the LDS faith, serving in a variety of capacities including Bishop, High Councilman, Stake YM President, High Priest Group Leader, and several positions within the Boy Scouts of America.

In addition to his loving wife and parents, he is survived by his sisters, Marae (Garth) Persson and Janae (Dennis) Sorensen; his brothers, Bryan (Debbie) Larsen and Dwight (Paula) Larsen; his children: Kaysie (Jason) Ziebarth, Ashley (Taylor) Rogers, Jori Larsen, Jared Larsen, and Annie Larsen; and his granddaughter, Leila Ziebarth.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, February 21, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. in the Orem Northridge Stake Center, 1674 North 200 West. Family and friends may call at a visitation Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem, or Thursday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
