Nahunta - Mrs. Barbara Jean Patrick Lee, 72, of Nahunta died early Saturday morning at her residence with her family by her side.
A native of Atlanta, Georgia she was the daughter of George W. and Emma Lou Wallace Patrick. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by three Brothers, Jerry, Billy and George Patrick, also a Brother-in-law, Jim Raney.
Mrs. Barbara was a member at The Riverside Chapel Baptist Church she enjoyed embroidery, sewing doing word puzzles and loved to sing. She had worked at The Bayview Nursing Home in Nahunta as a CNA before she retired.
She is survived by her loving husband Guendell F. Lee, of Nahunta, 4-Children and their spouses, Sam Adams, Tim and Donna Adams, both of Nahunta, Darlene and Raymond Jones, of Hoboken, Clifford "Mike" and Denise Adams, of Nahunta and other daughter, Debra Hendrix, of Hickox, A very special friend, Ruthie Crews, of Nahunta, 2-Brothers and sisters-in-law, Marvin and Joann Patrick, of College Park, GA., Joe and Joann Patrick, of Dawsonville, GA., and 2- Sisters-in-law, Hazel Patrick and Pat Patrick, both of Atlanta, 4-Sisters and brothers-in-law, Mildred and Ray Johnson, Betty and Jimmy Worthy, both of Atlanta, GA., Joyce Raney, of Dallas, TX., and Sandra and Joe Hayden, of Nahunta, 6-Grandchildren, Nikki Strickland (Shaun), of Blackshear, Scott Jones (Mandi), of Nahunta, Lee Adams, (April), of Waynesville, Tyler Jones (Kelsey), of Blackshear, Jessica Johns (Mikel), of Atkinson, Cliff Adams (Ashley) of Nahunta, 9-Great-Grandchildren, Kaleb and Broady Strickland, Konner Jones, Cuyler Strickland, Ethan Jones, Raylee Strickland, Emma Adams, Maci Jay Jones, Carli Grace Johns, also several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be held Monday evening (Dec. 8, 2014) at The Riverside Chapel Baptist Church starting at 6 P.M..
Funeral services for Mrs. Lee will be held Tuesday morning (Dec. 9, 2014) at 11 A.M. from The Riverside Chapel Baptist Church with The Rev. Wayne Manning, Rev. Randy Wainright, Rev. E.C. Crews and Rev. Cliff Adams officiating.
Interment will follow in The High Bluff Cemetery in Schlatterville.
Pallbearers will be Sam Adams, Timmy Adams, Mike Adams, Scott Jones, Tyler Jones and Lee Adams.
Honorary Pallbearers will be The Hospice of Satilla.
