Rites Held For Mineolan’s Kin
Mrs. Mary Manis of Tyler, sister of Lois Gill of Mineola, died in a Tyler hospital on Monday, Aug. 26, following a sudden illness.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, in the English Funeral Chapel in Mineola with the Rev. James Eitson officiating with burial in the Yantis Cemetery.
Mrs. Manis, 79, was a native of Louisville, Ky., and had lived in Tyler the past two years. A housewife, she was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by one son, four daughters, one brother - Lois Gill of Mineola, two sisters, 28 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
