He was a 1990 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Matt worked on Alaskan crab fishing boats at the age of eighteen. He was an Environmental Specialist for Denova Company until the time of his death. He had also taught Environmental Studies at the University of Findlay. Matt enjoyed fishing, hunting and golf. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Indian Fan. He also enjoyed racing, especially Jeff Gordon, sprint cars and traveling. Matt loved ice cream and spending time with his family.
