Property worth nearly $3,000,000 was left by Mrs. Florence W. Marks of Marblehead. who died Dec. 1, It was disclosed with the allowance of her will In Essex Probate Court today. The widow owned personal property valued at $2,940,000 and realty worth $50,000, according to a bond filed with the petition for probate. The will, signed Oct. 20, 1933, gave $25,000 each to two nephews, Paul L.[LeBrocq] Whitney and Allen B.[Bills] Whitney. Two friends. Mrs. Elizabeth Q. Stewart of Wynnewood, Penn., and Mrs. Marie N. Griffith of Los Angeles, were given $5000 each as was an employee, Maria Huschka. The residue of the estate was given to a son, Robert W. Marks of Boston, only heir-at-law. Marks and Herbert P. Mason of Saugus were appointed administrators of the estate with the will annexed.
