Ronald Wayne Shriver the son of Arthur Ralph Shriver and Rosa Faye Cook Shriver was born June 22, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri. Ronnie passed away at his home in Sunrise Beach, Missouri, February 11, 2014 making his age 59 years.

Ronnie was united in marriage to Judy Herndon. To their union two children were born, Travis Justin Wayne and Desirea Raylean.

He grew up in the Tyrone area and graduated from Summersville High School in 1972. He lived in Willow Springs, Missouri for several years. Due to ill health he moved to the Lake Ozark area to be near his family.
In his younger years he attended the First Baptist Church in Summersville with his family.
Ronnie honorably served in the United States Marines, serving from Jan 15, 1976 to December 13, 1979, then re-enlisting and serving until 1983.

Ronnie loved playing the piano, the guitar and singing. Music was a big part of his life. He was known for love of music and musical talent.

He is preceded in death by his father Arthur Ralph Shriver.

Surviving are his son Travis Shriver and wife Shayna of Versailles, Missouri, his daughter Desirea Shriver of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, his mother Rosa Collins of Tunas, Missouri, 1 brother Jim Shriver of Tunas, Missouri, 1 sister Brenda Dampier and husband Bill of Tunas, Missouri;1 half sister Opal Miller and husband Rick of Springfield, Missouri, 5 grandchildren, Zaven Shriver, Xachious Shriver, Shakia Shriver, Logan Shriver, and Alexis Clark. A host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and other family members also survive Ronnie.

Ronnie felt that he was put on this earth to help others. He fulfilled what he felt was his purpose. He had a kind and giving heart that was open to others.
Visitation will begin Saturday February 15, at 10:00 Am until service time at 11:30 at Bradford's Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 11:30 AM at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel in Summersville, with Rev. Richard Spacek officiating. Burial and Military Honors will be held at Nagle Cemetery under the care of Bradford Funeral Home.
