Virginia M. "Ginny" Hundley, 80, of Wapakoneta, died at 7 a.m. Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at Wapakoneta Manor.

She was born in Clay Township on Nov. 15, 1933 to Glenn and Ethel (Dudgeon) Hittepole, who preceded her in death. She married Lowell D. Hundley and he passed away on Nov. 27, 2009.

She is survived by a son and daughter, Paul (Carlene Lhamon) Uppenkamp and Deb (Ivan) Steinke, both of Wapakoneta; four step-children, Janice Henry, Debra Bashara, Diana Brunson and David Hundley; two grandchildren, David (Charity) Uppenkamp and Missy (Michael) Miller; three great-grandchildren, Taylor and Brady Miller and Abigail Uppenkamp; a brother, Garry Hittepole; three sisters, Janet Copeland, Marilyn Brackney and Nancy Myers; and a half sister, Farrell Kohlreiser. She was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.

She was a 1952 graduate of Blume High School. She had worked at Westwood Lanes as a manager and bartender and then retired as a homemaker. She enjoyed being with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She especially enjoyed Christmas.

Funeral services are scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014, at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta. Father Patrick Sloneker will be officiating. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, at Lindenwood Cemetery, 2324 W. Main St., Fort Wayne, Ind.
