Betty Jo Gay, age 76, of Conneaut, Ohio, died Friday afternoon, Nov. 29, 2013, at The Villa At The Lake. Born Feb. 13, 1937, in Charleston, W.Va., she was the daughter of Ray Lee and Ann (Hall) Rowsey. She was a Southern Baptist by faith and enjoyed ceramics, reading and sports (all except car racing). Survivors include a son, Michael E. Harper; daughter-in-law, Judy Gay; a sister, Bessie O. Baber; and her granddaughter, Jennifer D. Gay of Rittman, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles S. Gay; and her son, Charles S. Gay Jr. No local services will be held. Burial will be in Pliney Cemetery in West Virginia.
