Lesli Morris Wolford, age 50, of Starkville, MS, passed away November 19, 2013, at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. A memorial service will be held Friday, November 22, 2013, at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Columbus with Rev. Kerry Holder Joffrion, Rev. Lee Winter, and Rev. Carol Meade officiating. A graveside committal service will immediately follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitaion will be Friday, November 22, 2013, one hour prior to the service at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Gunter & Peel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Wolford was born November 19, 1963, in Amory, MS, to Betty Jewell Morris of Amory, MS, and the late Marvin Harris Morris. She was a graduate of Amory High School and Mississippi State University where she received her undergraduate degree in education and her masters degree in special education. Mrs. Wolford was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection of Starkville and in addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sons, Thomas Foxworth Wolford, IV, and Robert Price Wolford.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband, Thomas Foxworth "Bubba" Wolford, III, of Starkville, MS, daughter, Smith O'Neal Wolford of Starkville, MS, and sister, Debbie Morris of Smithville, MS.

Honorary pallbearers will be all friends of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Melissa George Neonatal Memorial Fund, 101 Silvey Road, Huntsville, AL, 35801, or Bridges Out Of Poverty, 319 University Dr., Starkville, MS, 39759.
