Emma Archibald, the seven-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Archibald died at the home of her parents on Wednesday.
The child was a native of this city.
The funeral will be held tomorrow from the family residence on Orchard street, from whence the remains will be conveyed to St. Joseph's church for services.
The interment will take place at the Guadalupe cemetery.

ARCHIBALD - In San Jose, October 22, 1902, Emma, daughter of Michael M. and Pauline M. Archibald, and sister of Robert, Edward, Laura, Essie, Margaret and Pauline Archibald, a native of San Jose, aged 7 years, 7 months and 12 days.
Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend the funeral tomorrow, Friday, at 9:30 o'clock a.m. from the family residence at No. 675 Orchard street, thence to St. Joseph's church for services at 10 o'clock. Interment Guadalupe Cemetery.

Note: Though both newspaper accounts list her burial place at Guadalupe Cemetery on mine hill in New Almaden, Oak Hill lists her as buried at its cemetery. She probably was buried originally at the Guadalupe Cemetery, which was later abandoned. Many families then had their loved ones'remains moved to city cemeteries.
