Pauline (nee' Martin)Tabor Webster, 87, of Universal City, Texas, formerly of Bowling Green,, died at 9:10 pm, June 8, 1992, at a Universal City nursing home. The Warren County native gained notoriety for her Clay Street brothel she ran for 38 years. She also operated a farm for several years and became possibly the county's first organic farmer. She was the daughter of the late William and Florence Gott Martin and the wife of the late Paul Webster. Funeral will be at 11:30am Thursday at J.C. Kirby and son Funeral Chapel with burial in Fairview Cemetery....survivors include a son, Raymond Tabor of Universal City, a sister Mary Tyon of Midland, Mich, seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, a niece and a nephew.
