MRS. ETHEL JOHNSON
Mrs. Ethel M. Johnson, 73, Wittenberg, died Sat., Jan. 14, 1978. She was born Nov. 2, 1904 in the Town of Morris, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gustave Tullberg.

She married Elmer Johnson Aug. 15, 1928 in the town of Morris, and after marriage they lived in Milwaukee until moving to Wittenberg in 1938. She was a retired school teacher, having taught in Shawano County schools from 1923 to 1950. She was employed by the Wittenberg Telephone Company from 1960 to 1966. Her husband preceded her in death on Nov. 25, 1959. She was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church, Wittenberg, and served as a past Financial Secretary. She was also a member of the Sunnyside Community Club.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. John (Shirley) Hartleben, Wittenberg, Mrs. James (Charlotte( Yaeger, Wittenberg, Mrs. Larry (Bette) Trickel, Fredonia, and Mrs. Donald (Eileen) Schmidt, Neenah; 17 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.

One daughter and two brothers preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held Tues., Jan. 17 at 11 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Wittenberg, with Rev. R.C. Reinholtzen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the Schmidt-Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg, today after 4 p.m., and Tuesday at the church from 9:30 a.m.until the time of services.
