Patricia A. Nowicki, 74, of Bentleyville, died Saturday, April 2, 2005, in Jefferson Hospital.

She was born April 21, 1930, in Monessen, a daughter of Charlie G. and Elizabeth Metz Phillips.

Mrs. Nowicki retired from Corning Glass Processing Department in 1993 after 30 years of service.

She was a former member of the Bentleyville Eagles, Independent Club, and she bowled with the Tuesday and Thursday bowling leagues at Tan-O-Bell Lanes. She also enjoyed reading.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Rod Kushner of Bentleyville; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Michelle Parola Bentleyville; three sisters, Virginia Shaw of Bentleyville, and Martha Lippencott and Jacqueline Timko, both of Wilmington, Ohio; two brothers, Richard and Charles G. Phillips, both of Vero Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren, Robert Parola, Tonya L. Pohill, Heath Pasqualucci, and Bradley and Amber Parola; and three great-grandchildren.

Deceased is her partner, Harry W. Roberts; two sons, Donald and Wayne Parola; a brother, Charles "Chuckie" Phillips; and a sister, Polly Ann Teagarden.

Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 619 Main St., Bentleyville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 6, with the Rev. Jana Quisenberry officiating, Interment will be in the Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.

The family suggests contributions be made to: Bentleyville Public Library, 931 Main St., Bentleyville, Pa. 15314.
