Eleanor Miglin Sokolofski, 94, died Saturday, July 27, 2013, at Johanna Shores Care Center in Arden Hills, Minnesota.
She was born June 22, 1919 in Westville to George and Anna Miglin. She married Edward L. Sokolofski July 26, 1941 in Westville. He died Aug. 14, 1995. Her parents, two sisters and two brothers also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Anna (Chuck) Tracy and Jean (Wayne) Heiser; son, Edward G. (Diane) Sokolofski; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; brother, Carl (Jan) Miglin; sister, Gladys Petersak and many nieces and nephews.
She was a 1937 graduate of Westville High School and 1940 graduate of St. Elizabeth School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lakeview Hospital and the Veterans Affairs hospital until she retired in 1978.
