Records indicate Zelinda shared gravestone with her husband Thomas M Loyd at St.Claire Cemetery in Ute, Iowa. Their gravestone reads "We trust our loss will be their gain and they with Christ have gone to reign"
Thomas Loyd was Zelinda second husband who lived next to Zelinda and her first husband Jesse Frost who died in 1860 at the age of 23 years after 2 years of marriage. Apparently Thomas Loyd was a neighbor of Zelinda and Jesse at the time of his death and was one of three appraisers of Jesse's estate. Probate list the following property: The appraisers met this 29th day of October 1860 and find the following property to wit one bed and bedding one cook stove, one horse,three hogs, four sheep, one wagon, six acres corn. Zelinda and Jesse Frost had one son, George Albert Frost.
