Mrs. Anna King, 72, Marathon, died at a local hospital at 3:15 a.m. Sunday after a lingering ill ness.
Funeral services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marathon at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Lloyd Geissler will officiate and burial will be in a Hilbert Cemetery. The body is at the Lohr Funeral Home, Marathon, and the rosary will be said there at 8 o'clock tonight.
Mrs. King was born July 3, 1891, at Hilbert, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gage. John King, whom she married May 16, 1932, at Marathon, died in 1951.
She and her brother, Vincent, Marathon, operated a general store in Marathon for about village clerk for several years following the death of her husband.
Surviving besides the brother are a son, John, Marathon; two stepsons, Arthur and Earl, both of Detroit, Mich.; two other brothers, Roscoe, Appleton, and Raymond, Hilbert; a sister, Mrs. Marge Fischer, Schofield, and two grandchildren.
