Thomas W. Davis
Of Grafton. Found Eternal Peace on May 29, 2005 at his home at the age of 59 years. He died from complications of diabetes. Husband of Lyndel "Lyn" Davis; father of Bryan Davis and stepson of Clayton (Bud) Hewitt. Preceded in death by his mother Charlotte Hewitt and his father Thomas W. Davis II. Further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, cousins, many family and friends.
Thomas was president of Prophet Technologies, past Senior Vice President of Super Steel Products Corp, former Senior Vice President of Academics & Dean of Faculty of the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He was a registered professional engineer, held a private pilot license, amateur radio extra class operator (K9ZPZ) and a US patent holder. He was a reserve sergeant for the Grafton Police Department for the past 25 years. Tom served on the board of many companies and was a member of many professional organizations. He personally consulted with over 400 companies and directed over 500 consulting projects in a wide variety of areas. He was active in community service and received many honors and awards. He was a noted speaker, motivator and author of many books, articles and papers.
Mass of Christian Burial TODAY, Wednesday, June 1, 6:30 PM at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church 1375 Covered Bridge Rd., Cedarburg. In state at the church Wednesday 3:00 PM until time of service. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Marengo, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Thomas W. Davis Leadership Award Fund at MSOE or the American Diabetes Association
