Julia was the daughter of Klaus Wibben and Anna Faulken. She married Ernest Haack. They were the parents of Joyce, Wanda, and Geraldine.


Dec 9, 1999 - Humboldt Independent - Funeral services for Julia Haack, 91, Livermore, were held Tuesday, Dec. 7, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Livermore, with burial
in the Union Cemetery there. She died Saturday, Dec. 4, 1999, at the Care Center South in Humboldt. The Harris Funeral Home of Livermore was in charge of the arrangements, with the Rev. Ronald E. Krause officiating. Casket bearers were Bruce Foth, Brad Foth, Greg Emick, Terry Smith, Michael Herring, and Tom Olson. Honorary Casket bearers were her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Joyce Foth of Livermore, Wanda Emick of Humboldt and Geraldine Smith of Livermore; nine grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and a sister, Bertha Willrett of Algona.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ernest; six sisters; and four brothers.

Julia Wibben, daughter of Klaus and Anna (Faulken) Wibben, was born May 4, 1908, at Hartsburg, IL. She moved with her family to Iowa at an early age and attended school in the Bancroft area. In 1929 she was united in marriage to Ernest Haack at Burt. The couple farmed in the Burt area, before moving to a farm a mile south of Livermore. In 1972 they
retired and moved into Livermore.

Her husband died in November, 1993. She was a charter member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, the ladies aid of the church, and the Friends and Neighbors Club and Birthday Club of Livermore.
