BURLINGTON - Denise (Voultos) Demeter, 95, of Burlington, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2013. She grew up in Sanford, Maine, and was a graduate of Sanford High School. She was the beloved wife of the late Constantine (Dean) Harry Demeter of Boston.

She is survived by her daughter, Anthe Demeter Athas and husband, the Reverend Fr. Robert T. Athas, Protopresbyter of the Dormition of the Mother of God Greek Orthodox Church, Burlington; and her son, Harry Demeter and wife, Anna Demeter of Reading, Mass.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Lewis Voultos and wife, Thelma Voultos, of Raleigh, N.C.; brotherin-law, Ashlen Senopoulos of Jamaica Plain, Mass.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held at the Corbin and Palmer Funeral Home, 71 South Union St., Burlington, on Friday, March 22, 2013, from 4 to 6 p.m. The Trisagion Service will be celebrated at 5:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Dormition of the Mother of God Greek Orthodox Church, 30 Ledge Road, Burlington, on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at 4 p.m.
