Calvin and Amy resided in German, NY and abt. 1840 built a home on Moon Hill Road in Pharsalia, NY. (The property was transferred to their son, Nathan Crandall Huntley. In 1905, Nathan sold the property to N.Y.S. In May of 1937 trees were planted where the home once stood.-The DeRuyter Gleaner, Thurs. May 6, 1937.)

Note: The Obituary of his daughter, Amy Louisa Huntley Briggs in The DeRuyter Gleaner, Thursday, February 12, 1931, says Calvin was born in Oxford, New York. However, Virgil W.
